Tank Geiger Counter

Back to the Cold War, this was originally a geiger counter fitted inside a Russian Tank. 

In the workshop I removed some of the layers of gunk and grime and then fitted in a Nixie clock - using Russian tubes - and also the little dial that indicated the level of radiation was reused to show the passing seconds. There were also some original lights, so I configured the electronics to use these to indicate quarter minutes. 

The whole thing was then mounted on a nice wooden plinth to make a very cool and original desk clock!
