A wonderful commission to be asked to make - the design brief was ' Recreate the helm of the Nautilus from 20,000 leauges under the sea ' 

This is the result in all it's Steampunk glory. All the dials and controls operate - it even has a working chimney stack on either side that smoke away once switched on.
Originally it was a rather large Victorian writing slope, it now wouldn't look out of place on the Nautilus. 
The project was started in Feb 2020, and finished September 2020 to give you an idea of the timescales involved in a piece of this complexity.
