Silvertown Telegraph Tester

Originally made in the 1920's this is a Silvertown Telegraph tester. All mahogany and brass / bakelite in construction, after some careful restoration it then converted into a clock nicely. The original peg selectors on the front to set a specific resistance, also lend themselves to indicate the seconds, as they are broken up into tens and units.  There are then 4 large Z566M Nixies on the top to display hours and minutes.
