Mine Probe Clock

This item was one of the Starting points, and with it being called a 'Mine Probe' I assumed it was military and used for detecting mines. However after converting it into a clock and doing a little research, the mine relates to a mine in the ground, and it was used to detect deposits of Gypsum, for the making of plasterboard. Certainly makes an unusual clock!
