Ecko Radio

I was sent an old Ekco radio to convert into a clock, and to modernise with Bluetooth. Unfortunately in the shipping of the radio to the workshop, the original glass front got cracked - so I made a new one, laser cut from a sheet of 3mm Birch ply, and then varnished. 

The radio had been in the family from new in the late 1950's and can now carry on entertaining, streaming from the likes of Spotify and i-Tunes.
