Bush DAC90 Restoration

After someone saw me on the BBC's Money for Nothing show working on an old radio, I was asked if I could bring some life back to this one. It belonged to the clients Grandfather and had also fused the house electrics when it was plugged in to see if it worked. 
You can see in one of the pictures it was in quite a state, so I had it polished and restored the casing. The original insides were removed, and a new class D amplifier and speakers fitted. To complete, I 3D printed a little light box, so the tuning panel even lights up when the radio is switched on. 

It's now back with the owner and treasured :)
