Battery charger Lamp / Clock conversion

I was given this old 1950's car battery charger to turn into something usefull once more. 

The final conversion has 4 Nixie tubes on the top ( Time / Date ) and a dimmable lamp. The little ammeter dial on the front now shows the seconds, so there is always movement, and something to see happening.

Electrically the clock now reaches modern standards, it wasn't even earthed when it left the factory originally!
