This is a Portable Potentiometer, not 100% sure what it does but there's lots of knobs and dials and all encased in a Mahogany case. Would make a great Steampunk style clock with 6 large Dalibor tubes across the top. 

Quite a big item, measures 45cm X 20cm X 14cm
