The new Workshop

We've been at Pillaton in Staffordshire ever since I out grew the spare bedroom at home. Our first unit at Pillaton Hall Farm was Unit 32, and it was about the size of a lockup garage and I worked from there for a year, with the garage at home serving as the stock room. However we were soon struggling for space and a double unit came up - Unit 22. This was lovely, it had 3 rooms inside that became the workshop / stock room and main assembly and Test area, with a bench for Karen at weekends. Time passed and we were starting to get a bit tight on space, so we had the original Unit 32 back, which then doubled up as a stock room and a store for all the packing materals and boxes.

Early November another Unit became available, Unit 2 and this is a purpose made factory unit in a block of 6, and also on the frontage of the farm as you enter by road. It's been a tricky 4 weeks moving everything in, and will no doubt take a few more weeks to get everything in its right place!
